Black History Month Continues at LCCC

Story by WBGZ Radio

Lewis and Clark Community College continues its recognition of Black History Month with more events marking the 2017 installment.  Yesterday was the popular Underground Railroad bus tour, and next week features two more events that have drawn good crowds in the past.

L&C Student Activities Coordinator Jared Hennings tells The Big Z Tuesday's featured guest will be speaker D.C. Cooper. He will be speaking in the Reid Memorial Library at 12:15pm.

The popular soul food offering in the Reid Cafe will wrap up the month on February 28.  It includes soul food favorites like greens, black eyed peas, corn bread, fried chicken, and candied yams. For more information on this or any of the other events held at L&C to celebrate Black History Month contact Hennings by calling 468-3220.
