Many lawmakers are glad the governor is providing guidance on where he stands on a package of bills leading Senators hope will end the budget impasse. Until Wednesday Gov. Bruce Rauner had kept mum on the Senate’s grand bargain. Rauner broke that silence Wednesday saying the package needs to lead to job growth and value for taxpayers.
