You can help restock the shelves of local food pantries tomorrow during the 25th annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. The National Association of Letter Carriers and the United Way are teaming up to promote the drive this Saturday May 13. You’re asked to contribute non-perishable food items to be placed near your mailbox that by 8am that day.
National Association of Letter Carriers spokesman Robert Rapisardo, Food Drive Coordinator for the St. Louis area tells The Big Z any non-perishable items will be accepted.

He says this is the nation's largest one-day food drive, collecting 1.6-billion pounds of food over the last quarter-century.
