The Alton Area Animal Aid Association is getting ready for its annual charity golf tournament and dinner auction at the Rolling Hills Golf Course. Space is limited, and there is only room for a few more teams. The event is growing in stature amongst golfers, and is offering a number of prizes, both on the links, and at the auction.
It's co-sponsored by Andy's Auto Body. Owner Mark Anderson says one of the more popular auction items this year could be a one year car lease from Jack Schmidt Chevrolet.
Anderson comments
T.J. Oshie of the St. Louis Blues will be on hand to sign autographs, there will be a silent auction, and a 50/50 drawing. There will be Mulligans, closest to the pin, skins, and other games. Anderson says they are still able to accept new sponsors. For more information, call 465-7006.
