Police Blotter for Tuesday

In local police reports provided this morning to Z-1570, 45 year old Shirlene Howard of the 2100 block of Country Club in Alton is charged with forgery for allegedly passing counterfeit $10 bills to a cashier at Hit and Run.  

Wood River Police were holding 33 year old Danny Fish of Alton for burglary.  24 year old Bradley Boswell of Wood River, held on a failure to appear in court warrant.  19 year old Justin Terrell of Collinsville, held on an outstanding warrant.

The Madison County Sheriff's Department arrested 27 year old Dustin Wilhold of the 100 block of Central in Granite City for unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, criminal trespass to property and theft following an incident on Sunday in Granite City.  19 year old Courtney McKinnon of the 400 block of Troy Road in Troy, is charged with bringing contraband into a penal institution.  She was allegedly attempting to hide a lighter and a hypodermic syringe when she was being booked into the county jail on Sunday.
