Sharon E. Watson, 70, died at 11:09 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Alton Rehab. & Nursing. Born August 7, 1941 in Carrollton, IL, she was the daughter of Roy and Dorothy Fay (Admire) Cummins. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading. Surviving are two daughters, Terri Watson of Godfrey, and Angela Watson of Alton, one son, Tim Watson and his wife Terri of Godfrey, four grandchildren, Amanda, Stephanie, and Marcus Watson, and Brandon Wade, two great grandchildren, Mikel Stockard, and Ashlynn Watson, and her companion of 23 years, Larry Rush of Godfrey. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Gent Funeral Home in Alton. Burial will be at Oak Wood Cemetery in Greenfield, IL.
