Carl (Denny) Wolf, 59, passed away at 11 am, Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Alton Memorial Hospital with his wife by his side.
He was born on December 15, 1952, in Wood River, Il to Carl W. and Bernadine (Simmons) Wolf.
Carl married Pamela G. Miller on March 6, 1971 in Alton IL. She survives.
Carl worked as an electrician and in maintenance at Buckler Foundry, Chemetco and Retired from L & C Marine. He enjoyed watching military movies, the Discovery, Military and History Channels; he also enjoyed watching how things were made. His greatest joy was spending time with his baby girl “Squirt” the dog. He also had a great love for music as he played the guitar in bands with his Uncle, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, two children; Shawn and his wife Michelle Wolf of Meadowbrook and Stacey Aulabaugh of Alton, seven grandchildren; Tiffini Dawson, Makayla, Carlea and Ryen Wolf; Tiffany Corbin, Samantha & Breanna Esposito. Two great grandchildren; Lexie & Madlyan Corbin, five sisters: Shirley Richards, Barb Willis, Connie Baker, Sandra Miller and Debbie Brady, one brother; Tom Wolf, and an aunt; Eunice Wolf, and many cousins, nieces, nephews &n special friends.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, a brother; O’Neill Wolf, and a sister; Brenda Wolf.
Visitation will on Friday, August 17, 2012 from 3 pm to 7 pm, at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11 am, at the Elias, Kallal & Schaaf Funeral Home in Alton, with Pastor George Willis officiating.
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
