Teresa Ann Denson, age 59, passed away after a lengthy illness at 4:13 pm, Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Rosewood Care Center in Alton.

She was born on July 30, in Memphis, TN to the late Fonvell and Doris (McLemore) Jones.

She was an office assistant for Helping Hands in Belleville. Teresa was an active member of the Greater Alton Seventh Day Adventist Church of Godfrey.

Teresa is survived by several cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Jones.

A memorial service will be held on August 26, 2012 at 3 pm at her church. Per her wishes, her ashes will be buried in Jackson, TN.
