The Blues skated by the Kings, 3-1 in Los Angeles Monday night to open their 5-game roadtrip. It's the 5th win in a row for St. Louis.
Blues goalie Jake Allen made 38 saves in the victory. The Kings outshot the Blues, 39-26. David Perron opened the scoring in the second period with his 14th goal of the season. Magnus Paajarvi scored a power play goal in the 3rd period - his 5th goal of the year - to make it 2-0. Alexander Steen added an empty net goal late in the 3rd period to cap off the scoring. It was Steen's 14th goal.
