The South Carolina Gamecocks have advanced to the College World Series Finals after defeating the Arkansas Razorbacks 3-2 in the final game of Bracket Two. Matt Price won his fifth career CWS game, which is the most all-time. D.J. Baxendale took the loss for Arkansas, which had won their first two games in Omaha. South Carolina won both games of a doubleheader on Thursday, including an elimination game against the Razorbacks. The Gamecocks are the two-time defending national champions and will face Arizona on Sunday in the best-of-three Finals. Southern California is the only other team to win three straight titles when they won five in-a-row from 1970-74.
