Alton Post 126 wrapped up play Sunday in the Champaign Wooden Bat Tournament – with a 4th place finish. Alton fell to Moline in the third place game, 3-2 yesterday….in Champaign.
Alton outhit Moline, 4-3 in the game. Luke Edwards had a hit and an rbi. Post 126 also got hits from Shane Mathews, Jordan Bodenbach, and Mike Sabotino. Zach Moxey suffered the loss.
Alton now stands at 8-6 as they move back into District 22 action this week. Tonight – at Gordon Moore Park – Post 126 welcomes Bethalto Post 214 to town. (Bethalto comes in at 7-6 on the year)
