In Frontier League Baseball, the River City Rascals jumped out to a five-run lead after three innings of play and held on for an 8-5 victory over the Gateway Grizzlies Friday night at T.R. Hughes Ballpark. Despite the loss, the Grizzlies won the series after taking the first two games. The Grizzlies continue their road trip with three games in Marion, IL against the Southern Illinois Miners. Game one of the series is tonight at 7:05. River City, meanwhile, hits the road for Normal to begin a series with the Cornbelters. First pitch is tonight at 6:30.
