David Freese and Allen Craig hit home runs as the Cardinals defeated the Diamondbacks, 5-2 at Busch Stadium Wednesday night. Adam Wainwright worked six innings and allowed two runs to improve to 11-and-10 on the year. Jason Motte notched his 27th save of the season. Arizona’s Joe Saunders allowed all five runs in six innings to fall to 6-and-9.
